Im working with this lens on the gh5 and i can honestly tell you, that i dont need any other lens at the moment. It has most of the focal lengths that i currently need and its ultra sharp. It's always good to use filters and effects to make it less sharp if you need to, but it's good to have. You can't add detail like that. And constant aperture as well. Truly a great lens for micro 4/3 cameras. Only problem i have, is that it's not weather sealed, so i get nervous in rainy situations.

Thanks for your comment, If you use the same equipement the different is maybe in post production, maybe during color grading step. I have LUTs that could help you for be close to this result.

This is one of the footages i find it to be very filmic look. In general i prefer the older blackmagics because of the more organic look but this looks amazing.

Stunning work! Can the lut be applied straight to raw footage or do you have to color correct to rec709 first?

Thanks Paul :) !! both methods are possible but if you do a color correct before you will have to reduce the intensity of the LUT.

@@paulhong1242i triee to do tutorials, but for the moment my work lacks a method to share a simple process. I spend a lot of time and do lot of tests. My LUT are the results of successful experiments. But I will continue tl structure my color grading process to provide clear and simple tutorials on my channel. Thanks again for your support!!

Thanks you for your feedback, I use my LUTs as a base, I always do color correction, I advise you to use my LUTs in the creative tab of lumetri and adjust the intensity according to your needs and do a little bit of the color correction in the basic correction tab.

Thank you very much, yes i recommend this lens, I will upload a video at the end of the week or I will give my opinion on this objective. I don't use gimball too. Sigma 18 35 is heavy which helps to stabilize the image a bit ;) !!

I add the tiffen Black PRO-MIST 1/4 because i precisely found that the images of the sigma 18-35 were too clinical. The Black PRO-MIST 1/4 give more soft footages.

I am preparing a comparative video where I put side by side the bmpcc 4k and the GH5 with the leica 25mm and the sigma 18-35. I can already tell you that you are right the 25 mm leica offers a more contrasted image and more colors

Salut, je n'ai pas le A7R3 au vu des caractéristiques video sur le papier, je pense que la BMPCC4K t'offrira plus de possibilités niveau video. Mais le A7R3 est aussi un excellent appareil photo, donc si tu hésites et si tu ne sais pas si tu veux faire que de la video ou que de la photo ou les deux. Je te conseille de prendre le A7R3.
