Impressive ! That sound design and photography are just next level. People always talk about tips to get the cinematic look etc Real cinematic stuff doesn't comes from Pro mist filters and other craps but from Strong visuals, precise compositions and the story telling capability of the filmaker. Excellent work.

Really appreciate the kind words! I feel like the gear can only add to the artistry of composition. Gear is fun, but way too often overhyped. 👍🏻 thanks for checking it out!

Excellent work. Some of your shots reminded me of the opening battle scene from Ridley Scott's "Gladiator" movie; all that was missing was Russell Crowe, his soldiers, and the Germanians :)

This is amazing. Is this the Rokinon 24mm T1.5 Cine?
@FlatlandFilmsLLC4 жыл бұрын
I believe so, yes. Kind of a ‘cheap’ lens, but I have zero complains on the images that it produces. Great budget cinema lens! Thanks for checking it out!

Do you think this would be a good camera for our main kill camera not just broll? If so what lenses would you recommend?
@FlatlandFilmsLLC4 жыл бұрын
Honestly that’s something I plan to test in the next 6 months. It seems to have decent low light performance with the addition of a Metabones XL speedbooster, but lacks in a couple other areas as far as a main filming camera for hunting. Mainly water sealing. Makes me nervous to bring this camera into the woods and try to film on a day with light drizzle or intermittent showers when a weather-sealed body wouldn’t have a problem. Just my thoughts. I may do a review of the Pocket 4K as a hunting camera after the 2020 season.

Amazing cinematography! I am just hesitating between Rokinon and Sigma 18-35 lens but your footage shows how cinematic Rokinon lens does. Sigma is amazing but produces kind of sterile images that ruin this illusion of a movie. My opinion so far... What do you think?
@FlatlandFilmsLLC4 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the kind words! I’ve been pretty happy with my Rokinon Cine lenses. I have a 16mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm. I’ve used all 5 and like all of them. They’re not the highest quality compared to high dollar Cine lenses, but for what they cost they are a great value. I would like to own the Sigma 18-35 and probably will someday. I have a Sigma 24-105 that I’ve been using for run and gun filming and have really liked it. Slightly different look than the rokinon lenses, but it produces a pretty clean image and has built in stabilization which is kinda nice for the BMPCC4K. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed either way!
@mrwashur19914 жыл бұрын
Is this the 35mm or 50mm? I'm thinking of getting the 35mm and selling my old sigma dx 30mm 1.4. That thing is good in low light but has terrible build quality. Damn good quality in the video either way.
