What is wrong with this AEG machine, something funny, nice quiet motor but maybe spider issues? What do you think?

Maybe you could do a chain wash like you did with the wma50 and set it to do a 1600 spin as the spider could possibly just collapse if it’s on it’s way out

used to have one of those but ours went out after 13 years of use and being a showroom model it had it's uses as the element went out like it made a short but not enough to fry the electronics but enough to make the mashine fill with water whenever we tried to drain it in service mode

What I sugest is to put it on a 1600 spin with a towel on one side(big towel) if it starts to make spider noises do experiments on it but if the spider is fine I siggest to paint it and put it as a daily driver as it is more economical than the bosches you have .... Also just saw the whole video,I had a indesit with alot of limescale and the things that were in the bowl seem more like limescale and sand, the spider bits are lighter colour

Welll for this AEG it has a water jet much like all of the other older ZANUSSIS and Electroluxs and it mainly ment to increase the washing performance

Can you check how many operating hours this machine has done? You can check it by putting the dial on synthetics and then immediately press&hold the start/pause and time buttons together.

seems like jets clogged and i dont think thats spider residue although i would personally repair this as these are rare and amazing machines also my wdud9640 has a small drum wobble but spider is completely fine

If you want to run the motor direct I did some experiments with a Hotpoint 3 phase washing machine motor, running it with a capacitor to shift the phase. Ended up running it on 110v as 240 was too much. The video is "washing machine motor re-purpose and hack", cheers

If you want amazing clean then turn on service mode and do some spinwash with hot water and dishwasher tablet it does clean well.(im not 100% sure if it does spin with water in service mode) if you want enter the service mode turn dial on cottons and hold start button and time button at same time.

Also a vibrating machine means the suspension is nakered...this is really gonna be a waste if it gets bricked really,the dodgy drum halpened to my 1st beko still lasted 4 more years with that dodgy drum...try and change the legs with the aeg protex you had...
