My 2021 Passport actually gets great mileage, we have averaged 25mpg on two hwy trips. On one tank where we had a long run with few stops, I used the "econ" button and averaged 26.6 on that tank of fuel. Not "babying" it, keeping up with the traffic (74mph) on I-64.

Honda is going after the 4Runner. Offering a smoother ride, better fuel economy, faster 0-60, and decent off road capabilities. Honda doesn’t give a damn about Subaru (although Toyota has a controlling stake)

That 0-60 is way off… I’ve gotten 5.9 0-60 And the slowest has been 6.2. This truck moves. I had a 2019 sport, and now I’ve got the 22’ trailsport!

Honda's IVTM4 is the same mechanical unit as Acura's SH-AWD but the SH-AWD unit has more aggressive torque vectoring programming..

Agree they have a little work to do to make it a true TrailSport. Not only the things you mentioned but a transmission cooler and a winch would be nice. I plan on waiting for the 2023 Pilot Elite AWD. Hope you get the opportunity to give it a review.

I never understood the concept of manufacturers giving cargo capacity in cubic feet in SUVs and crossovers. Are there many people who carefully fill the cargo space with grain or water without spilling into the passenger compartment? Maybe I am crazy, but it seems to me that to most humans linear measurement would be more useful.

Love the passport its good looking very comfortable well bulid and has a little more off road ablity as well.main rival for this would be the subaru accent wilderness which is needed and a must for subaru

Doesn’t look like a minivan at all. Doesn’t have sliding doors and not front drive only. It also doesn’t have all those minivan seats and features. It does have 4 swing out doors like an SUV, sits much higher up, has AWD. Not sure why you would see minivan. You would make an awful detective of you confuse the two. Poor judgement.

still a long shoot to go after 4-Runner...cosmetic update does not change the fact that it's a 2-row Pilot...Both P&P need a newer interior...I think a used Lexus GX looks better and more practical for off-roading and overlanding, of course, after lots of mods
