Adam Savage Unboxes The HasLab Razor Crest!

In this special members-content preview, Adam finally gets his own Hasbro HasLab Razor Crest, and unboxes it for us in the cave! With two of these models now at Tested, we'll soon begin the long-term project of disassembling, upgrading, and painting every part of this beautiful ship and document our journey. Stay tuned for the first part of Adam and Norm's builds!

I almost pulled the trigger when it was up for preorder, the price felt a bit too steep. Kinda sad to miss the opportunity seeing how well it's put together with all the features and a display stand to boot. But then they blew up the Razorcrest on the show...

You can buy a 3d printer and enough filament to print the free online model and have a sturdier vehicle. In hand the Haslab Crest isn't worth what you pay for. :{

In season 1, episode 1 very first time we see the inside of the Razor Crest and the very first bounty he catches, we see the Razor Crest bathroom. Yeah, I know it's a weird detail to remember from 2 seasons ago, but it was the very first episode. Hopefully, the Jawa's robes aren't made out of someone's old worn sock, watch "The Toy's that made us" on Netflix if you don't know the story.

A B-29 had two ball mounted 20mm guns fitted experimentally firing forward and the two guns on this ship remind me of it.

The guns on the Crest are meant to resemble the AT AT blasters and the overall shape of the ship is mostly copied from the Mist Hunter. :{

@@raymond7880 for the OT sure but when it comes to the Razor Crest it's inspired on the Mist Hunter with AT AT blasters and Din Djarin is an amalgamation of the ESB bounty hunters with a heavy focus on copying Boba Fett's EU lore. Yes, the B-29 inspired the design of the Falcon and in turn several other ships after the success of the Falcon, but this Razor Crest design is simply a copy of the Mist Hunter from the Expanded Universe lore. The blasters are copying the ESB AT AT blasters. It's really that simple knowing how much Dave Filoni copies anime. :{

Since I got mine last month and went through the long process of putting it together (long was putting all those guns into the gun locker, that does not come out) and watching Adam put it together, I was talking to the screen like I was trying to guide him. It is a nice model but definitely for big kids (adults) for its price.
