Great video once again! I must admit that I'm a bit surprised at how well these clips worked. Look forward to the next one!

Thanks for doing this. I have three varieties of clips (original, Northridge and 1 older, lamer 3d printed) and have similar results as you on 2 K31s. I will try the Swiss shield 3dp variant. Again thanks for doing the work to print and clearly analyze these variations.

I really like these videos man! It's interesting to see the milsurp world intersect with the 3d printing world!

About a month or 2 ago I saw this video and went to Thingverse but could not find the page for Simon Wolf's (Wolfe?) clip with the Swede cross on it. I looked for "Schmidt Rubin" and also for "Simon Wolf" spelled a couple ways and still did not find the page with his model on it. Any idea how we can get that file? I'd love to try it out. Thank you so much for making this video with a comparison of the different 3D models.

I looked for it as well and it looks like they removed the model and maybe have it monetized elsewhere or just taken down completely...sorry.

@@usna98 - Thanks for responding. I am a Toolmaker and we have a 3D printer at work. I might just take my own dimensions on the charger I have and draw up my own model. If I do, and after printing some prototypes and trying them out, when I get something that works well I will upload it so that others can download for free. I have a couple things to get done before I can start on that though, but it's on my list.

I didn't design these...just tested out other's models, and the only Swiss rifle I have is the K31 in the video. Thanks for watching!

Are 3D printed mosin clips possible?
@usna983 жыл бұрын
Yes, but they will probably have the same issues as the Carcano one in my last video. It's really hard to print durable thin walled plastic like you need for a clip, at least with consumer grade printers.
