what purpose does the columns in between serve? i thought they were supposed to just be spacers in the top and the bottom of the tube?

I say - put some locks and hinges that can lock them together. 4 hooks on the corners and then two loops of rope with a handle in the middle. The Handle comes off so it is out of the way. :) - Just a thought!

Use a couple soft kayak handles mounted to the inside of the left and right sections. Should be able to pull the whole thing together and carry like a briefcase and fall out of the way when opened up.

It is posible just rope loops on both the sides and done you can carry it like a suitcase and stil fold it open

I feel like you could easily make a carrier for that. Just going across the three panels width wise instead of length wise. I'm thinking something like the old ice carriers that would clamp harder the more weight they had.

You could have put a handle that snaps in place with locking rivets. These rivets are attached to the rack and the handle would snap onto the rivets keeping it closed till you removed the handle.

Just put some of those little metal clips that come on suitcases and stuff like that too hold it together, just could put one on each side and then you really could put a handle in the middle

I thought I saw an automatic canister firing system at the Spirit of 76 channel. Don’t know the price, but it’s not cheap I assumed. Cody could save up for that if he’s interested. On the other hand, Cody could work with that mortar rack company to make future products.

Couldn't you use some sort of quick release handle on each side. Then drill each side of the handle into rack one and three where one or both of the sides (of the handle) can unlatch. That would also provide even pressure so it would be easy to carry and transport. Or put latches on each side to prevent it opening up and connect a leather or nylon strap, that can be detached when opening up the rack, on the top to carry.
