You should do this test on a hot day when you're actually sweating a bunch. Trying to apply these products to a sweaty hand is different than trying to apply it to a wet hand. They interact differently with the oils on your skin than they do with water.

Climbing/weightlifting chalk. 15$ for the bag and holder. Done. Liquid chalk if you're especially sweaty. Less than 10$

Please make a vid on applyingbthese on sweaty hands too. Sweat is diffrent to water and using for example a whalesac makes my hands only tackier when sweaty... i guess the osmosis thing and the Infinite bag could be best for sweaty palms

Not having DG Max Wax in the mix was a huge mistake. That stuff is amazing. So much better than the various chalks.

Birdie bags are great! Occasionally I use a dryv bag but the birdie bag usually gets the call.

@Bodanzadiscgolf So, regarding the bird juice or any other liquid chalk for that matter. You applied waaaay too much. Go back to it and try this, squeeze out a drop no larger than a house fly on your first finger of your throwing hand then using your thumb, spread it across the tip of your fingers. When you finish you should have it only on your fingertips and the length of your thumb. For disc golf, THIS IS ALL YOU NEED. Your experiment had me thinking you were going rock climbing. I love the stuff but it took some experimentation to figure out how much to use. It definitely makes your shot releases more solid and further flying. Also i bought zilla liquid chalk off of amazon. For $20 i got a bottle like the bird sauce AND a 10 ounce refill. That is like a years supply.

The Birdie Bag is basically made with sawdust. It's more to neutralize your grip.

First off, I think you should be one of the best to test this since You rarely use anything but have played for a while ^^ Got one of the flat Osmosis ones, just different shapes balls or sacks (Lat 64/DD/Westside/MVP and so on are all using the same balls) that are filled with small balls taking in moisture (and slowly gets crushed, mine isn't used enough to actualy dust enough yet), mostly to stay "normaly dry", it needs to be used for a while to work properly! And then a Birdie Bag that I just put my hand down in the bag with, but somehow on a dry day the soil/dirt around the teepad is just the best to have a consisten grip imo! I tend to need them in events but not when playing friendly, the hand sweat/pressure is 100% put on myself by myself when playing for "real"! ;D Want Josef Berg to get his European Birdes out on the market again, weren't in any kind of need (threw less than 300') when they were still in stock!

I would recommend using pine tar. Might leave a residue on your disk. But still PDGA legal!

B4 even watching. I recommend bird sauce. Its amazing just dont use too much 😅 With the bird sausce, i apply a small drop on each finger tip and a couple in the palm. It will last 6 to 9 holes if you are wary and dont keep grabbing your bag,etc with your chalked hand

I would have laughed so hard if you gave yourself a coke stache after you rubbed your hand on your face using the bird sauce 😂. Nice video, I just ordered some regular liquid chalk to try myself as I have trouble getting consistent pinch grip releases when things get sweaty.

When I worked a remote job I would bring a little baggy or Rosen to dry my hands when throwing in a humid day. I would be stopped 50% by security thinking the bag was Coke. 😅

Please do not buy bird sauce. You can get the twice the volume for a much better value by buying climbing liquid chalk. Same stuff just not branded for disc golf. They’re ripping you off!

I don't think it is a rip-off at all. It's priced relatively the same as any other liquid chalk. I would also add that supporting people in the disc golf community is a good thing. If you're interested in growing the sport. I'm sure you can buy a gallon of it and carry it around the course and maybe you will save a few dollars but that doesn't sound like fun. #growthesport
