The big issue is relevant distance and obvious contact. In Mirror Mazes, it's actually quite easy to understand direction and position because Mirrors are relative to the person. That being said, it's very frequent in Mirror Mazes for people to not do the minor but instant calculations needed to not bump into a mirror. The mirror is sturdy. This thing? Very fragile and curved. Contact with it probably won't break it if framed well or built well, but it can lay fingerprints and/or ruin the curvature (even when framed). That being said, it still seems like there's room to work with and it can definitely add onto the confusion for those in a mirror maze.

I think the pattern of your shirt doesn’t matter but the color should match to the background. If you wore red-blue Stripes the stripes itself would be invisible but you would see a violet (red-blue mixed) blurred something.
@whengrapespop57284 жыл бұрын
@Chris Twid The color or lines on your shirt don’t matter - what matters is how wide your body is compared to the shield. If you have a big enough shield, you can hide a tank (I believe someone did this already). The vertical/horizontal effect is just the result of the curve of the shield, and vertical lines disappear only because they are stretched out and thin enough compared to the shield, while horizontal lines remain because they technically end up wider than the shield, making things “stretch out on themselves” and therefore not disappear.

I've been engineering for a decade, government level. Yes, 100% refraction to put the image behind while reflecting far images to the board is doable. So imagine being behind this "mirror". With the right refraction, we can build it to make anything 5ft behind it disappear while maintaining anything 5ft after it to show onto the "mirror". As far as a cloaking device. I've yet to come across that. Where you can wear something and be fully immersed into the background unseen. I believe this is possible if they wear a cloak and it only makes you disappear when you stop because only then will light be able to bend correctly. If you wore it and walked across a room. You can see very distilled images making it obvious. I believe nano technology will get us there though. And I've yet to see the money put into it. Where nano mirrors are refracting light on each other so that whatever is looking at you will only see the background.

I would use it as a window where I want light but also privacy. Like a bathroom window, or a shower door. It would also be cool in a haunted house.

Hey, Chris just to let you know love the work you do lol, the future puzzles are my favorite. oh just to inform you your sleight of hand is kinda out of phase you accidentally see the bend in the pen before you reveal it to us. Also, it would have been better if you showed us a not pre-formed pen.
