I bought a short 5m length of these lights recently that ends in a USB so I can plug to a power bank. compact enough took it on my last summit camp, tent must have looked weird from a distance!

IP65 isn't that good; dust doesn't do anything to it, but you shouldn't put it in normal rain... (for outside, that doesn't shall dive into water, but stay out in the rain, take nothing below IPx6...) q - after turning it on - can you use the remote as on/off-switch, or do you have to keep the "master-station" reachable all the time?
