Testing Anti Spark XT90s on Scooter Batteries

I have been working with these batteries for a while now an attempting to get them working in 4 parallel through a 36v Reliable brand inverter. One issue after another....uuuuug! YES I am a NOOB. :-) The capacity spark (surge) is quite large and suspected to have burnt out a BMS board already and possibly a BMS activator board. In this video I am working with the anti spark XT90s for the first time.

Its a "anitheft" protection inside of the BMS, it needs a "heartbeat" to provide significant current, its a standard for a rental packs about 2-3 years in row.

a DC clamp meter is more expensive, but well worth it!

I killed both my activation boards... without any surges... I think they are all defective.

@@sidjones-randomstuff2058 "ES-90 Battery Activator" - same as the one you showed. I had to go back to a arduino.. which is a bummer, it's not as clean of a setup.

@@RealJohnThompson you saw how many of those I went through LOL and finally got three working. Now randomly they're failing as well. I went back to the Jehu ones.
