YOOO!! This was such a great video. I'm pretty sure I'll go with this one.. it's 333€ nowadays where I live, Finland. I've been back and forth with either at4040 and this one, and now at the midnight I listened also to the sweetwater mic tests/reviews of both and I have to say this is the one for me. I feel like it gets my spirit flowing in some type of a different vivid way. Whereas AT4040 feels nothing like my vibe, even tho it sounds good for sure. I think when making final decisions about buying stuff like this it's a must to go with the intuition. Your own self is the only reliable factor when choosing the right microphone for your own needs. ;) I hope that I don't change my mind coz I hate the over analyzing this kinda stuff.. hehh also the Spirit just looks so fantastic to my eyes. Thank you. I have 12 of them, then my booth has acoustic wedge foam covering the walls. Def helps a lot. When you mix your vocals, what ever room sound you have is just gonna get amplified when you mix it...Plus when your mixing if your room is all echoey then your gonna be hearing sounds that aren’t actually in your mix...Couldn’t really tell you how much you neeed, but I can say that the more the better...try to deaden that reverb. Any pop filter will work. I suggest one with a longer arm..I got a new one recently and the arm was way to short, barely reaches the mic, make sure it’s long enough...No doubt!

I asked about the ''3arround'' because my monitor is like surrounded by Polyurethane(not sure if it is poly) walls so I was thinking like if I get mic close to it, maybe the 3 walls surrounded by acoustic panels shall do the work, but I gotta try ahah. Can u tell me which acoustic pannels did u pick? Trying not to go for expensive panels

@@LorLoe No problem. Personally I love the bluebird its one of my main mics, its bright & has a modern crisp sound to it. I mostly use it for melodic stuff. If your just rapping, dropping bars and being more aggressive it can get a little harsh tho.
