@@Jay7Rocka There isn’t much difference. I would say this one is more convenient but the smaller size is a limiting factor. If you have a small work area it is a great option. Also considering the price difference of $239 vs $1000 you really can’t beat it. You could buy 3 of them for the price of one FFU and stack them together if you wanted to lol

Ok so they used pc fans. So that means all the math i was told to do by others to get the perfect cfm in my room with my blower motor i bought was pointless lol. Thanks for the video now ive realized ive spent way too much money building a flow hood.

I would actually disagree with you, while it does show that it could be putting out laminar flow, I highly doubt that this is going to be an effective flowood. You investing your time and money into learning how to build one it was definitely worth it.

@dustin860 yes I understand the flowhood I built is a better product but the fact that this works with little effort and minimal building supplies for half the price is just frustrating is all.

@@Emeighttwelve This should be on the main thread. Most of my successful work was done in a closet where I sterilized my surfaces and wore a mask. Even better when I converted an $8 Rubbermaid style container into a still air box and taped it to my glass desk... Laminar flow hood would be really cool to have, but it's not needed and I feel you learn more without it.

@@Grapfruitidet No lol They have a custom filter that you can’t even find anywhere. It’s all custom design and manufacturing. They have sent me the testing results and information about manufacturing.
