The cheap is actually better because the snow at all times of day is white and going down a hill at 5mph-40mph is really confusing when the snow is glossy and semi blinding you making the tint needed for snow boarding Edit: I forgot to mention that conditions and types of skiing and snowboarding would also be a main factor of what you would choose

Thats not true. I assume the reason the expensive if 300 is because they have mags. U only want an orange ish tint if you want something without mags. Mags basically ajust the goggles to different colors depending on the visibility.
