Awesome tool I made myself one years ago after seeing one on the tool truck. I bought the stant replacement hose and guage kit (stant part # 12701) for mine instead of robbing the one from my hand pump tester.

Yes sir I made the same set up. Saves time. I have a vacuum one too for filling and holding back coolant when removing small hoses

I work on heavy duty trucks and my pump actually went bad the seals inside the cylinder are worn i was waiting for Wednesday to buy a new one of the truck but ill be trying to make one in the morning pretty smart idea plus it sucks to pump 100+ times

What psi should passenger vehicles be set to? Also can you do this with coolant in already? Watched your awsome toolbox review a week ago and youtube recommended this vid as well. Thanks

mr I Well first off, thank you for the support! Secondly, yes, you can use this while there is coolant in the system, when I showed it in use in this video that cooling system was full and that is why it filled the pressure so quickly. Granted, as I stated in the video to use this tool to its full potential you would want to use it before refilling the cooling system after doing any work that intruded on the system. That way you find leaks prior to filling it with coolant. Also I believe most passenger vehicles are right around the 12 or 15 psi. It usually says right on the radiator cap. I would suggest staying within a few psi above that while pressure checking the system.

anthony alvarez I really love it! Honestly I do make really good money but that literally holds very little weight because this is one of those things if you don’t really enjoy you will hate your life. Honestly giving it a try is your best bet to know for sure.

Christian Beyer I work for komatsu and I agree 100%. The money is good no doubt, but it’s all about how much you enjoy it. I can’t quite put a finger on it, but the sense of satisfaction you get working on heavy equipment is so much more than you get in the auto/truck side of things. I could never go back to that side of the industry. I would recommend anyone who thinks about it to just do it. You’ll be happier.
