me yesterday: harvests the entire ocean for oil, and clams, makes a super piston and controller powered sawmill, destroys 2 forests and turns all the scrap wood to regular refined wood to make a base game today: we've just released a beta that makes oil, clam and wood easier to get me today: ..... a bit late buddy, but awesome

Why do people still make horizontal saw mills when you could do it without pistons by letting gravity push the wood into the saws

​@@robertbalazslorincz8218 1- because it looks super satisfying and on top of that it's easier to build and load 2- because i had the pistons from an "art" project 3- because i can't handle horizontal saws... it triggers my OCD extremely fast 4- most importantly, because i want and i can 5- and the last answer is: i wanted a quite old-looking sawmill to mix with the forest theme.

We’re kinda collectors of oil because we get our own and stock pile it then buy oil from other countries

going from max setting to half on thrusters gave me almost 4x longer time on the water. weight and power lvl determine fuel usage.

I used the heavy quarter round parts and made an underwater car. 3 maxed out pistons under the seat pops your head right out of the water. Super efficient!

The chemical container can probably be used with the vacuum pump or water cannon to shoot chemicals at bots to knock them out or even destroy some weaker ones.

No one ever throws the glowsticks. They are super common and light up a massive area forever. They only fizzle out if you unload the area chunk. A single stick can light up an entire lootable building.

i can't believe they thought we needed more oil. They're already all over the place. I have 3 vehicles and i use them quite a bit, they all use fuel engines and i have 2 chests full of fuel because i cannot use it fast enough to make it drop. All i do is go pick up oil and clams everytime i have to wait for a raid to come and i don't want to head out too far but i still want to do something productive. All i'm saying is, we didn't need more. The only resource that i seem to be running out of all the time is Component kits. That's it!

It opens up more options. If your farm is by as ocean your method is good. If it's by a lake you can run or quick. Also, farms big enough to be raided are for people who had already found the trader and built a few machines. To a lot of people getting oil at a rate of one per geyser is tedious.

I've changed the drop rate on my local files to drop 20 crude oil per geyser and 10 glue clams per shell those files on steamapps/common/Scrap Mechanic/Survival/Scripts/game/harvestable/ - SlimyClam.lua - for the glue clams and - OilGeyser.lua - for the crude oil loots.

it is to make it faster than making the chemicals in the craft bot you can just collect them from the chemical container to make it faster to make concrete

Maybe you could use the chemicals against bots or something like have a watergun connected to the chemical container and then perhaps you could make stronger chemicals in the future so that it could dissolve bots

they really could use tool racks in this game. Like having a rack with spare tools on your vehicle so if you need it, it is there, but otherwise your inventory is free.

If they add chemicals to the update you could use it a lot like fertilizer, and there could also be a chemical gun, when you shoot farmbots with it could be more dangerous than water instead of knocking them down it also damages them, but these are just thoughts and what I think is going to come if chemicals get updated, because they're useless right now

you would still have to go down and collect, you would still have to be near the pumps for them to function at all. the game has a lot of problems that need to be solved before automatic collection systems are practical. the game, for whatever reason, doesn't keep our creations loaded. so if you where to place a pump in water, turn it on go far away and come back, the pump wouldn't be pumping for most of the time. this conflicts with exploration.

using a boat... pls, just make a ocean crawler and go ham, uses less fuel and with a couple piston on your seat you can make it so you get full breath on a press of a button. considerably its a little slower but you don´t have to jump in and out as much and also cut on the travel time between you boat and the node.
