Quick tip: After applying the straw, use a acidic primer preferably one that is sticky just on the straw, then use a base coat then cure it for 1min. After curing, it becomes extremely stick . Apply the acrylic and your good to go

Oh man you have so much patience! Btw with any plastic or soft foam, use hot glue. It'll bond very quickly (but don't use the low heat because it'll melt the plastic. Also i couldn't tell but did you use the big boba tea straws? I'm not sure I'd try this still with how hard of a time it gave you but it looks cute!
