I'm surprised that the makers of these types of open systems haven't thought of that. Realistically, they're pretty susceptible to vibration/shaking and having a weight at the top of the unit probably isn't the best idea.

On almost all larger build volume printers there are typically braces to support the frame. I think most companies just think that smaller build volume printers won't benefit from additional frame supports like that. But we'll see.

Yesterday my ke stopped extruding/printing, but was still moving like it was. Don’t have much info about it cause I haven’t checked it out yet I just shut it off. I don’t think the nozzle is clogged but I could be wrong. Ever had this problem?! Ps, I haven’t really got to know the ke yet I’ve just been printing with it. Time to do some trouble shooting

I've had that issue but never on the KE. Typically that's caused by a clog in the nozzle. But there are a few other causes for it. If you'd like any help troubleshooting you are welcome to join my Facebook group or Discord Server.

No try a full spool

Since making this video I've tested several full spools. My opinion is still that moving the spool off the printer is the best option. But for those that can't/don't want to, there are two printed upgrades that actually remove a decent amount of the vibrations while the spool is still on top of the printer. I released a video covering those upgrades a few days ago.
