I tried the GC2145 on my giga display. While the image was in color and rotated upside down, The image quality was poor and had worse color rendering and pixelation than the OV7675 example shown in this video. I just ordered the HM0360 for experimenting. I am hoping the HM0360 performs as well for me as it did in your video. And yes I defined the GC2145 properly or at least I believe I did!

I think these cameras are more suited to AI computer vision than recording actual images.

Like many, trying to figure out the image rotation. I'll likely remote the camera anyway, and it will be for ML data, so I"m not sure it matters, but I should know how to at least.

Its not in the sketch itself, so it has to be in the definitions of the cameras. It's hard for me to get bogged down while the bench piles up with all the inevitable new kit arriving almost daily. LOL. Best wishes.

Great video, thank you! The last two cameras demonstrated display upside down and the sketch does not reorientate. How would you turn the displayed image the right way up please? Thank you.

I've been banging on this for about a week now and haven't been able to get the GigaR1 with an ArduCam 7675 to work with either the Arduino-provided Camera library or the arducam_dvp library. I've been able to load other sketches like the WiFi demos from your earlier videos, and get those running on the R1, so I know it's not the board itself. I'm wondering what exact steps you took to get the ArduCam to work with your board.

The only problem I encountered was I mistakenly mounted the camera with the lens facing in the opposite direction from the screen. Once I figure out the lens needs to point in the same direction as the screen, I had no issues. If I had to do something to make things work it is all included in this video. Attach the camera facing the same direction as the screen. Load the sketch. Comment the correct camera in the sketch. Upload. Thanks. Best wishes.
