Testing EXTREME PEEL-OFF Lipstick!

I use this daily. When I'm brushing my teeth, I brush my lips to exfoliate before applying. I'm a teacher of "hybrid" high school classes. If there are no students in my room, I can whip off my mask to teach virtually and this doesn't come off on my mask. I don't have to worry about lipstick on my teeth. I usually don't wear lipstick because I think it's a pain and messy, (just untinted Burt's Bees lip balm, which I apply over this) so any color on my lips is fun for me. Everything you said is correct, but I think I must be the perfect customer.

I never found a lipstick or liptint that was truly long lasting on my lips, so I would never spend so much time to do this application knowing it won't work.

Thanks for doing a wear test for us. Honestly, this seems like a super fussy process and it’s a lot of work for lipstick application. I’ve used the CoverGirl lipstick you’ve mentioned with the two tubes, and that was much easier to apply and lasted all day for me. I wore it when I ate at an Italian restaurant, and only had to apply the glossy lip balm after the meal. The color layer was still intact and looked good. I wouldn’t buy or use the one you demo’ed.

I'm actually really surprised you reviewed this so highly after application - the color is pretty but definitely looked uneven/messy to start and just got even worse as your day went on. Also, VERY expensive for a lip tint/color! Yikes.

Have you tried the Shine Out Loud by NYX? It’s not a lip stain but it has great starting power even under a mask!

Im a nurse and, after COVID, I stopped doing my makeup at work because we wear masks and it gets hot. I’ll give it a try, but didn’t like the unevenness. Wish me luck!!

I bought some Korean lipsticks for $ 1 and had better results than those. They did not run and lasted several hours. I just had to be really careful when I was applying the lip color

At some point you have to worry about products that stain that hard I mean, how healthy is that? & your lip is the thinnest, with a LOT of blood vessels (that’s why the skin is pink & cracks so easily) That sounds a bit dangerous

Seems like too much trouble. For that effort and money, I would want it to at least go on and a solid color and not make my lips look way more chapped than they are. Doesn't seem like you could do a touch up when it starts to fade like other lip products. Pretty colors though.

Was this a paid review? As someone who has watched most of your lipstick reviews, this particular lipstick/stain looked bad from start to finish and you seemed to REALLY want to like it. I’ve seen you tear up much better lip stains while I couldn’t see what you were seeing and thought you were being really picky. That pickiness, though, is what I have always liked about your videos. Especially with products that are high priced like this one. I don’t know, I just would have expected a harsher review for a lipstick that has to have multiple applications, an activator, a 45-second drying time, and then a peel only to look as bad out of the gate as my one coat and a clear gloss does after 12 hours.
