Today I will be comparing top lipsticks in the luxury beauty category. All of these have their plusses and minuses. I wanted to wear them and see how these lipsticks apply, feel, and wear throughout the day to understand the differences between them. I cannot do sticky lipsticks, it drives me nuts. I just tried the highly rated Maybelline colorstay liquid lipstick and it’s soooo sticky and tacky.

I use that one too. But I use a chap stick over it instead of their cover stick. It’s only sticky when you first put it on.

Try revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip color! Not sticky at all and lasts a while. I don't even need lip liner.

I know I’m like ugh and the colors are no bueno . The only lipsticks that don’t make my lips dry are moisturizing ones anyway . L’Oréal has a few good ones too

These are about five times the price of drugstore and only one seemed to last. I would not be happy spending $40 on a lipstick that came off so easily, for $40 it should wear like iron and last a few months

It's kind of weird to see open restaurants. In Germany the restaurants are closed since November and it will be until 18th April and probably longer. And we see no end of lockdown.

When it comes to luxury/high end lipsticks I prefer Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown and Lancôme. While I do like the CT matte revolution lipstick formula and don’t mind reapplying throughout the day, I prefer their K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula best especially now that’s winter time bc it’s a more moisturizing formula.

Maybelline Vinyl liquid lipstick in the shade (Royal). It's a gorgeous red. Not too vampy and not too bright. I feel pretty every time I wear it.

CT has a graceful look on the lips but it fades just like drugstore Cant believe that... i like CT at first and planning to try it but jesus its like any drugstore maybe gonna STICK TO REVLON MATTES

It’s good to know your opinion and everything… but you’re a little tests don’t tell us Jack-because you don’t know what you’re eating all day long (unless you’re eating the exact same thing every day… it’s not a good test) If you eat fruit and veggies with no oil all day versus if you eat oily foods and pizza and spaghetti….the outcome is going to be COMPLETELY different.

Maybelline super stay matte ink wears all day long. Never found a better one even in expensive lipsticks. I apply lip balm under and over it too and it doesn't budge. Super comfortable on the lips

Agree. But I use lip balm to take it off( farmed). Can you use Chapstick and not take the color off?

@@jennyrose9454 I use Burts bees lip balm and it doesn't seem to effect it. I always go for more nude browns or mauves so I can't say about reds. I accidentally fell asleep in my makeup and the lipstick was still on! Lol try them out with different chapstick or lip balms, I'm sure they'll all look amazing on you (not weird, just female empowerment from one lady to another!)

I absolutely loved the lip oil from Tatcha. Devastated that they discontinued it. If I had know it wasn’t going to be around I would have ordered some extras. I hope they bring it back soon.

You rock all these lipsticks! I find that there are many great lipsticks out there. I went hunting for a long-lasting lipstick last summer, spent maybe 100 dollars altogether, but oh boy... No long-lasting lipstick stays pretty for more than a few hours on my lips. More like two hours... I love Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks, but Urban Decay’s “Liar” is a gorgeous nude-ish everyday wear lipstick. Very comfy!

14:15 this lipstick reminds me of Ovanaf Beauty's make up Brand's (DTD) lipstick from their Inspire line called B-Rad. It was $18.00 but now $6.00 and has a 6 to 12 hour ware time. The color is really similar in my opinion. But Ovanaf Beauty donate 100% of their total annual online profit from all of their DTD Brand's Inspire Line products' to non-profit organizations which I think is really different of a makeup company and really cool. Plus, the inspire line was created with the help of DTD customers who participated in DTD's TIP! Ovanaf itself donates 50% of their annual online profit for both the Ovanaf and DTD brand's products and plans to go 100% non-profit by 2030. I'm so surprised that no one ever talks about this company. Can you do a review on them? I've tried their AP Balm, Deodorant, Sugar Scrubs, Inspire Lipsticks, and bath salts. So far I thought everything was delightful and their customer service is amazing. I'd love to see your take on and opinions on their products.

I have noticed that red shades wears much better - and this is true for a lot of brands. Smashbox Bawse wears exeptionally, bus the other shades so-so (for long lasting lips). And the fact that dark shades dont wear so good (like hoops on or diva from armani) make me sad(( It's true for MAC also(

If you don’t mind little amount of choices you can buy rimmel London 16 h liquid lipsticks they stay all day long no matter greasy food and you can put chapstick over any time without transfer
