It is hilarious that freckles went from brutal teasing to the point my aunty and grandmother hate their skin (apparently the relatives in Cyprus called the Dr on my aunty because they'd never seen freckled skin like hers before) - then to my twenties where women were coming to get freckles and such permanently removed with laser and IPL treatments - to now spraying on fake freckles and sun damage. My aunty can't believe it when I told her about it. She has the orange kind that covers her body. My face is pretty much covered now in deeper toned olive/orange freckles but my body doesn't have any.
