As a woman who just started wearing makeup when I first had a job, I used to follow those social media "makeup" gurus/influencers. I bought primer, foundation, concealer, etc. I remember putting on too much foundation and concealer just like those people. And to my absolute horror, my makeup started melting due to the humidity and high temperature during that day. That's when I started realizing that those makeup done by the people I follow is not wearable outside. They just did it for the sake of posting a pic or a video. I'm so glad to have found people like the Welsh twins who are professionals and teaching us real tips. And I really appreciate their honesty because it saves me time and money from buying the products that I don't actually need.

The Vaseline on the eyelashes thing was something we did in junior high, in 1989, because our parents wouldn’t let us wear makeup. And it gets in your eyes and makes your eyes blurry all day. I can’t imagine if it were mixed with mascara 😂
