Yes ! Moar VIXX ! The theme of the song is Angel and Devil, the common representation of them sitting on the shoulders whispering things to your ears. Leo being the angel, blue, touching his right shoulder, while Ravi is the devil, red, touching his left shoulder. They are often shown together with a space in between, where we should stand, shown mostly white/blank or blue and red alternating.

@@anonymousarmystarlight6682 I thought so too as that seem to be a continuation of Beautiful Liar since there are some similar scenes (ex. them falling on the training). While Beautiful Liar Ravi was fighting with Leo, I took Whisper as them accepting each other. But this version makes sense as well. Another meaning I would like to think of (more basic) is that Ravi and Leo used to be strangers and now they are connected by music, becoming part of each other's lives.

VIXX LR is definitely a legendary subunit, Beautiful Liar was their subunit debut song before whisper! it's amazing, Whisper itself it just such a good song though that I've listened to constantly since it came out a bit over three years ago and I'm still in love. (Also though, recommend Leo's solos, touch and sketch hits different)

I agree with everyone here. You need to react to Beautiful Liar. It was written by Ravi and is the song that made Ravi my ultimate bias in kpop. The song is beautiful. And can kinda be a prequel to Whisper even...concept wise. LR has a lot of - opposing personalities kind of concept. Whisper for instance has the two in different colors. It shows their differences: in personality, music. Ravi has stronger more powerful music - aptly represented by Red. Leo has a much more soothing and calming vibe about him with his singing. And blue does suit him. Towards the end you see the mixing of the two and their connection - through their music.

Thanks for reacting to Vixx LR! I'm always impressed by their music since it's all self-composed and written by either Leo or Ravi. Their MVs also tend to have a lot of abstract symbolism or even some subtle shoutouts to the fandom included! In Whisper, Leo's suitcase has Vixx LR's debut date written on it (they always carry those memories and feelings with them), and the depiction of the gemini constellation of the red and blue twins reflects Vixx's debut date (5/24, and was featured on the Starlight membership fangoods that year) and even ties into the concept. About the concept itself, there are always various interpretations of a Vixx MV but personally I think this one plays a bit on the red string of fate/soulmates idea, but the thread tying LR together seems to have more to do with a subconscious connection through music. It's cool that you picked up on so many things on your first watch (like the meaning behind the choreo/dance break because I definitely didn't lol), but to expand upon the other details a bit more: Leo with his red shirt and black leather jacket seems more wild at the beginning, but internally he's a much calmer soul (blue) while Ravi is his direct opposite (blue at first but internally red and passionate), yet they are able to make that connection through music and marry the two sides together through that musical connection (the earphones, and then the two strings at the end are still separate colors, but have switched and are tied together). Basically, the contrasting emotions between calm (blue) and passion (red) can sometimes merge together to create harmony (purple), and may sometimes even switch (Ravi's string is blue at the end, while Leo's is red) but these two emotions are always connected to one another despite how opposite they may seem. There's also a lot of parallels drawn to the Beautiful Liar era! One of Leo's books was also titled "My Light," which LR dedicated to their fans, Starlights, during their first mini album :)

YESSSS! Yes, they are the subunit of VIXX, LR- Left and Right or Wro g and right or right and lie. They are basically the polar opposite of each other like angel and devil.
