Thank you. This is interesting one. . . I left Facebook and other social media 3 years ago and don't want to go back. Left that part of my life and people behind.. One way to grow out from missing loved ones who have passed.. Too much meaningless noise. Thinks started to get too weird there. It was not my place anymore. Diane I really enjoyed this tutorial I did buy the paints and paper for my grandchildren for the reasons you mentioned. My grandson wanted to use my Kuretake and I nearly had heart failure so he can dig his brush in as much as he likes with these, he he!!! Thankyou again for great inspiration. Xx❤

Wonderful as usual. So surprised to see meeden watercolor paint. I just bought this for my granddaughter. It Arrived on Sat, perfect for our sleep over sat evening. She loves them. We got to painting right away. Think I will go back and order their paper. 🙏🎨

I love this! I heard that Medeen paper is perhaps the same as Baohong academy watercolour paper. For me that’s great. I love Baohong paper. And I noticed it also has Meeden on the Baohong paper. Just got more delivered today. I love anything seaside! Will give this a try tonight Lottie is gorgeous ❤❤

Happy fellows they are, and painted lovely! :) QUESTION: how many cups/half cups are 250, 200 & 125 gr? It's Erwin's coconut cake recipe, but after much research (Alexa too--she's not so smart!), I cannot figure it out! Ugh! Is 200 gr two cups? Anxious to try it, but cannot figure it out yet. Ha! I just ordered the Meeden paper. I have their Academy one & love it, so it’ll be interesting to compare as this one is cheaper. Are they the same paper? I really appreciate your reviews of lower cost products. It’s so frustrating when people only recommend Arches paper and Daniel Smith paints. I have those and they are great, but not necessary. Hi KT! I have been told by a representative of Meeden that the Baohong and Meeden papers are identical. I can‘t vouch for it myself because I haven‘t seen the paper being made :) but that‘s the closest to the truth I can get. I hope it performs the same. But things are changing all the time, and quality can vary, so we just have to go with the flow really. I don‘t believe in the expensive products any more. I used to buy Arches paper here in France which was made in France, and I still have some in my stash, but it is quite different from what they say is Arches now, which is made by Canson in huge factories. There‘s a big cover up and it‘s hard to get to the bottom of it. I have been trying out the Chinese paints lately and I‘m honestly struggling to know why anyone wants to pay 7 times the price to have the label Daniel Smith on their desk. But I always have been a bit of a rebel!

I have tried this one. As a beginner, I was a little challenged but learned … and isn’t that the point? I have one question from the video opening when bookmark was placed on the Meeden pad. Did you use a different blue paint on that one? If so, can you comment on what you used? Thank you.

Hi Pam, so glad you gave this one a try and hope you enjoyed it! Yes, that trial piece was just an odd piece of paper and the color I used there was Ultramarine - I am not sure which brand, I think it was probably Kuretake - their ultramarine is a bit weak, I think. I was very pleased with the Meeden blues, nice and intense. Hope this helps!

@@DianeAntoneStudio Thanks so much! The beach where I live has white sand which isn’t easy to paint. The sand on that particular bookmark leaned to a gray green, but often that’s just the photo. You are a dear to have responded. Thank you again.
