Hi, nice sound dude. I'm also thinking about buying the MST air intake, but I'm not sure if it would annoy me after a few days. Do you always hear that whoosh bov sound while shifting and letting of the throttle? Even when you just cruising in comfort mode with low rpm? If the sound only is present when you accelerate hard and boost is high, then it would be ok.

Hi Kerpo, Thanks allot bro 🙏🏻 I think if you searching like me for a bit more emotion while driving this upgrade will make you happy! Sure you will hear the Bov Always i never have the radio on, and just listen to the car noise I Love it! But if you put a little sound on its not that present. Low boost will sound like a big vacuum sound, but not to loud. High boost will surprise you sometimes how cool the car can sound with a loud BLOW OFF WHOOSH. 🏁 So easy driving will not be noticeable but when you go hard on the gas you got exactly what you want. A question ? Is the air vent that you hear due to the MST filters?

Yes it does, it comes with new charge pipes (without demping) and shorter to the turbos you will hear the VTA-valve like a BOV.

Another question. have you had an increase in power have you done the dyno on the car ?

sorry for the inconvenience. I'm undecided whether to take the two K&N filters or go on the MST 🙃 And I don't like too much that air vent seems annoying 😅

Hi VN, all openair filterkits MST or BMS will make the woosh bov-sound. The K&N for closedbox filter will wont help you that mutch cause of the same restrictions in the airflow as original. Both MST and BMS will provide a new and bigger chargepipe what helps the engine breath allot better. My car is stage1 tuned on the dyno and always on octane98/E5 fuel and it rips. LOVE THE UPGRADE, and dont forget that the sound is recorded under the hood while driving next to the intake!!!

Its a costum one! Would love to go for a Armytrix but i think its so overpriced that i removed the resonators keep the rear muffler. And i put a straight dronekiller_resonator on the mid resonator spot. Still deep sounds and a bit of drone at 2000/2700rpm BUT love the tone and makes the car more alive aswell! 💥

Got it on my E43 AMG stage 1 and its mind blowing! Much faster and also nice sounding. MST claim 16 hp + 40nm which is very good!
