DUDE!!! I got this exact combo because of your video and the air compressor has been used at regulator setting of 110psi to power a framing nailer (21-degree) to complete a 12x8 shed for a sandrail vehicle. As I was the only one using the nailer, it kept up with me during the framing process, activate when needed and I kept nailing with no notable power loss. I got this smaller compressor because lifting Dewalt's 25-gallon belt driven compressor onto the back of a truck's tailgate was getting dangerous. I'm 42 and can't lift that thing as easily any more. I have not tried the brad nailer yet and am more familiar with 16ga brad nailers...have not tried an 18ga nailer yet. Looks promising. Thanks again for this video, subbed and liked...forget the haters.

What kind of coupler/fitting did you use to connect the hose to the nailer? Thanks.

It's a standard quick release fitting. You can find a kit at walmart if one is near you.

What is the thing you used to release the air pressure? Is that included in the kit or where can I buy it?
@ejemsworkshopofeverything
@ejemsworkshopofeverything 2 жыл бұрын
It's just an air nozzle, it wasn't included in the kit. I just bought mine from a set in Walmart. Or you could order one from this affiliate link here amzn.to/3jAHZHZ , be aware that I might get a small commission if you use the link but it wont cost you any extra!

How long did it tok your compressor to turn back on?
@ejemsworkshopofeverything
@ejemsworkshopofeverything 3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the funtion, with an air nozzle, it lasts about a minute. But with a brad nailer it takes about 3 or 4 clips before kicking on.

How long did it take to fill up? Does it get quiet when it is filled?
@ejemsworkshopofeverything
@ejemsworkshopofeverything 2 жыл бұрын
Around 5 minutes to fill, the volume is loud until it's full. If you're just using the brad nailer it'll go for a while before kicking back on. But constant use tools like a sander or air nozzle will run it down quickly and you might want to consider a larger one. After having it for over a year, it's been a great thing to have!

Quick question, so it’s loud at the beginning then gets quiet or how does that work?
@ejemsworkshopofeverything
@ejemsworkshopofeverything 3 жыл бұрын
I didn't mean to confuse you, the loud portion is unedited audio to help you be aware of the volume of the compressor. When it gets quite, I turned the audio down during editing to make it easier to listen to. It takes about 5 minutes to fill up and the compressor is loud for the entire duration.

How do you like the compressor so far?
@ejemsworkshopofeverything
@ejemsworkshopofeverything 2 жыл бұрын
I intended to make a one-year update video on it but life's pretty busy at the moment. I love this compressor and I use it almost daily. It's great for using the brad nailer, although I wish I bought a bigger capacity to use with the air nozzle. The air compressor keeps up with my air nozzle use but it having to kick back on regularly disrupted my twitch streams lol. The only other con is the placement of the drain nozzle for me. To drain it, you have to tilt it and that annoyed me but it makes sense because the point is to avoid rust near the drain port. Other than that, I close the port, turn it on in the morning, then have to remember to drain it before I leave the shop. Thanks for the question!
