In the larger natural federations like PNBA, OCB, WNBF they do a polygraph for each athlete at check-in as a deterrent. They also ask if you have taken stuff from the banned list within the past 7 years. These feds not only test for anabolics, but also dieuretics. I think peptides are also banned. Anyways, the winners and the runner ups get tested and there is some random testing of pros throughout the season as well.

Hey, thanks for the laughs and wise words on the podcast! As a fellow "software guy," I wanted to suggest an enhancement to the scoring system. Assign weights to each placement based on their importance (e.g., 1st place = 6 points, 2nd = 5 points, down to 6th = 1 point). For each prediction, calculate a penalty by multiplying the position weight by the absolute difference between the predicted and actual placements. The total score is the sum of these penalties, and the participant with the lowest total score wins. This system emphasizes correctly predicting higher placements and accurately reflects how close each prediction is to the actual results. Thought this might be a valuable addition to your system!

You could do a second layer to the point system like in Card games. Ex. A full house wins a Pair, but if you have two full houses then the one with higher value cards would win. In this case, the player who picked the winner would win vs the player that picked the winner wrong but has equal amount of points.

If an athlete was enhanced, came off a few months prior to a show, then won a IFBB pro card, the prestige of having a pro card would lessen. I think the solution is what you guys described; naturals who win a pro card compete in natural shows not the IFBB.

Fouad when I look at Miker Sommerfields shoulder pec tie-in, I see a classic look. Shoulders aren't bowling balls like today's open guys. If you look at the guys from the 60s, 70's and 80s, many didn't have the canonball delts from the front that body builders have had since the 90s up. So to me his shoulder pec tie-in helps give him a more classic look.
@FouadAbiad
@FouadAbiad 11 күн бұрын
Classic doesn’t mean the look has to be from the 60’s or 70’s or else Wesley would be Mr.Olympia. No one in the 60’s or 70’s or even some of the 80’s had legs like Chris’. Classic is about perfect symmetry, aesthetics, proportions, separation, condition, then muscularity.

my question was the how’d u get out of being depressed i currently feel like shit at 20. i think today was the right day. for context, i recently moved to georgia from california after a motorcycle accident i got in that left me crippled for six months and im still trying to get my physique back from before the accident. and even tho ive been recovered for a while, i have had the worst mental health after my accident and that has affected til today. my best friend from california called me and basically said what the overall message from u guys were, was that i need to start getting busy bc to be truthful i was doing exactly what u guys were saying not to which was staying in bed not going anywhere and even skipping the jim at times. but today after this episode AND my best friend giving me a real talk, im going to start getting busy and stop dwelling on what i lost and what happened. thank you guys genuinely and ive been watching this podcast from the very beginning w luke from 2020 and this show has been the one constant thing in my life since hahahah. keep doing ur thing bro chat and plz more episodes. but thank u again seriously

Most natural shows the winners get tested and I know that at least the OCB also requires a polygraph from all competitors prior to competing. So its a double layer of testing, albeit somewhat flawed. I just don't get why someone who was enhanced would have such a lack of respect for the guys who choose to compete naturally and compete in one of their shows. What does that do for you?

Regarding the Predictions Rating System - I think you should leave it as. Many competitions it gets harder to predict the lower placings. Like usually there’s a clear favorite or two (obviously with some exceptions) at the top so in those cases it’s way easier to guess the winner vs who is gonna be 3rd or 5th ya know?. Great episode!!! Hey fellas, I found it interesting how you started talking about natural physique competitive because I’m someone that couldn’t really take gear when I started work out because of genetic reasons and health related issues so I have a touch of stuff along with any other supplements along with it. And Geogre I always thought about trying to compete because I’m now pretty much shredded as I feel but I know that I would’ve not win and I would waste my time😂❤ All my training partners were on gear, but I didn’t care because I was almost as strong as I am shredded😂❤

Now by the time they got through all 50+ competitors and the comparisons started, Mike had lost some of his pop. But that flow was undeniable and he brought that back at the night show.
