FINALLY! Some cruelty free content I'd love to see more of it 🐰 all the brand you used I can confirm are cruelty free except for the powder of Benefit that you used to fix the eye look (but I know it was not supposed to be part of he video so no hate 😊). A good resource about cruelty free make up and skin care is Cruelty Free Kitty, Logical Harmony or Ethical Elephant DO NOT trust the official website of the brands, as a lot of them claims that are cruelty free but then sell in China.

Soph you need to try some Indie Brands like Clionadh, Kiliedos, Deveih, Glaminatrix these the most colour shifting sparkly shades you will ever try. These Brands are so so so good and an affordable like really affordable and so so good that’s a European Brand is Odens Eye that should be super easy for you to get , but any of those other Brands you can get they ship world wide and will blow your mind.

Watch the foundation on dry skin and if you’ve had it a while. It starts to curdle on the skin. It just separates horribly. I used it for ages a few years ago but now only use it to mix with others. I prefer my Tarte foundations now. X

Ooooh I love onions! Whenever I have too many onions in my kitchen and I'm scared of them turning to waste, I tend to chop them up and put them in my freezer. Great way to have some ready to use freshly chopped onions for when I'm in a hurry and don't have a lot of time to cook (works for garlic and fresh condiments too)

Yellow undertone makes sense. Actually most Asians wear yellow undertone foundation so well and pretty!! Hey Soph! If you can get your hands on the new Lumene foundation (Lumene Stay), I highly recommend trying it! I have very, very oily skin, and that is the first foundation that keeps me from getting oily. With many other ones I look like a greasy donut only an hour or two after applying them, but this one looks amazing even after 5hrs! I'm impressed, big time!

The issue with some of the bigger cruelty free brands is that their parent companies aren’t cruelty free, which is such a shame! Comes down to whether you’re okay with that or not 🤷🏻‍♀️ P.S I talk about cruelty free products over on my channel. For me there’s a flip side to this which I only reached after a lot of research and that is that it’s really hard to find brands that are both cruelty free and also use responsibly sourced mica (child labour/modern slavery issue) and sustainably obtained palm oil (planetary issue). A lot of the brands I’ve found that do both are the bigger cruelty free brands owned by for example L’Oréal who have really good mica/palm oil policies and reporting. Would I rather both the brand and parent co are cruelty free? Absolutely! But for me I think there is a balance to be struck 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s absolutely a tough one though!

Loads of brands are truly cruelty free but aren’t as well known, I try and clarify the parent companies of brands in my videos!
