Testing of the Robotic Canine | British Army

Animals have long been associated with the Army and in the 21st Century it is still the same, but is it?
Soldiers from 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment have been getting their hands on the new Quadruped Uncrewed Ground Vehicle.
The robotic canine, produced by Ghost Robotics will allow our soldiers to shape operations by providing better situational awareness and keeping soldiers safer on the battlefield.
The tests have enabled 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team to become the first brigade to be enhanced with Robotic and Autonomous Systems.

Really, for the price of one of these you could buy 100 drones, which gives me an idea, a drone mosquito, lol, seriously though a small drone that could be driven around after landing in a danger zone, problem is battery life but nasa is working on solid state batteries that could do the job. Maybe in 50 years!

Computer systems can detect humans but working out which humans are the bad guys and which humans are the good guys involves strategical thinking, and it would be very bad to get that wrong. But that thing seems to have masters walking and opening doors.
