I had one of those mirrors, but the heat from the sun combined with the temperature in the car, killed the battery within 6 months, then would only work when plugged in to car, the unit then stopped recording after a few months, and finally the display died, then in the trash can it went.

For the superclamps, I wouldn't trust them with a DSLR. As far as I can tell they aren't branded like smallrig, so you don't know if they are made with certain materials or to some standards, as there is no responsible brand behind it making claims or providing support they can slack off and cheap out on quality and provide them cheaper. The clamps probably can hold the camera at first but they can also vibrate loose or start sagging (probably even faster in a moving and vibrating car). I had a few of these "OMG it's slowly going down moments" with those clamps from reputable brands. For action cams, mics or monitors they are great though, but I wouldn't trust my DSLR with it!
