It's funny how Adam picks a tomato, a very bright, vibrantly colored food as his subject for the pastel collection! What could have taken it in an interesting direction would be to do an heirloom tomato, those have all sorts of funky colors. My brother grew some tomatoes that were very pale pink as well as some that are yellow. It did end up turning out pretty well though, especially contrasting with the green.

I have the ohuhu skin tones and they are amazing! They basically replaced a lot of my old markers that I had a hard to remembering what tone was which cause of swatches, but this set comes with a variety of tones and the swatch card is very handy! I say get em!

I have the 72 original set and the skin tone set, and the skin tone set is my favorite-- lots of yellows and red and grey browns. They have a mid tone set to go with the pastels now I think 🤔!

I love the pastel-neon colors! ^u^ They remind me of carnivals for some reason, and being a little girl growing up in the 2000s- early 2010s (I had a lot of pastel-neon yellow and pink clothes) My favorite marker colors here are "mellow peach", "light hot pink", "yellowish green" and I can't read which one the neon yellow is.

Ok so banana skin eating story in 3...2... Anyway when my son was a baby we were grocery shopping one day and had him siting in the front of the shopping cart. We turned to discuss apple purchases and turned back around to see him with a disgusted look on his face and then he spat something out. We picked the thing up with a napikin all moms instinctively just have always, and then looked at the bananas in the cart beside him. He had bent over, and just taken a bite out of the unpeeled, mostly green bananas beside him, then locked at us like "what is this poison you are trying to feed me, peasants!?" Despite the fact that we're not abnormal in our child feeding... we never just put his meals in his high chair beside him. We, you know, got a spoon and put the bites of food into his mouth for him! We also put baby snacks (mum mums) in front of him... or directly in his hand. Never in the chair beside him. Because that is weird.
