Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been concerned about low levels of progesterone as I’ve had several miscarriages in the last few years plus this year my cycle has been irregular. I thought I was having implantation bleeding at cd18 this month but now I know it’s my period :( so using this test will really help to see if my progesterone levels are as low as I suspect them to be and to take measures to help increase them. My LH is high on cycle day 12 which doesn't give me enough time for baby dancing. I noticed this for the past 6 months but I didn't realize it was a problem until I watch your videos 😊. I am taking herbs such as vitex and dim. Any other pointers? Also I cut out plastics due to high estrogen and I'm eating all organic foods and no fast foods, natural toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, body wash and hair products. Excellent, you sound like you're on top of it! Have a look at the vitex series I wrote on my website ingefleur.com as Vitex is not right for everyone. Day 12 LH spike is pretty good as that likely means you ovulate day 13 or maybe day 14 which is perfect. Just make sure you start a few days before when you start to see cervical mucus! Do you temo? Love this information. My Gyn told me my levels were at at a 7 and then the next month a 9.7, but they told me that I didn’t ovulate that month at all. They said I’m supposed to have a 10 in order to have ovulated.

I’m using the prove this cycle. My line never completely faded but it lightened up a lot compared to cd9. To me difficult to read. My LH peaked cd 16 and My temps suggest ovulation but skeptical. So I am hoping to get some advice as I gear up for month 2 of my TTC journey. So bummed when AF arrived. My heart goes out to everyone who has and is going on this journey for moths and years. I had a blood test done back in August and it came back at 18.3 ng/mL. Cycle day 22 for me. hadia hasan I got pregnant in June but miscarried at 5 weeks. Due to low progesterone. I have a history of that so they put me on suppositories to take from ovulation until period or pregnancy is confirmed to prevent miscarriage and support baby. I would ask your doctor though. And make sure they’re testing you at the right time in your cycle. Your level looks low but I wouldn’t know your cycle. All I know is anything over 10 confirms ovulation occurred.

Progesterone fluctuates widely over the course of ninety minutes, so a low-normal reading may simply mean the blood was drawn at a low point.

Consider talking to a naturopathic doctor or functional medicine doctor about using natural progesterone cream to help prevent miscarriages. Also, read the book "What you doctor may not tell you about perimenopause." It goes into a lot of detail about how to prevent miscarriages.
