Enjoy your stuff. I would check the temps across the grate then add stack if needed. It will move the hot spot closer to the stack with more airflow.

I need to do that my thermal pro actually broke a couple months ago and I haven’t bought one sense so I need to invest in some other type of temperature gage where I can check the inside of my smoker.

Good advice check the temp across the grate before adding stack 👍 definitely going to do that.

awesome video of those ribs look perfect good job! 👍 Why don't you try the biscuit test Another thing you could do in the firebox put a steel plate where your cooking grate goes then you have a straight deflector and you're set up like a lone star grillz Use a thick enough plate anyway if you put plate where you're cooking grate would go all the heat has to go straight up the front and then through the outlet It can't come shooting from the flame I have a Wrangler I took my heat deflector off also same scenario Except worse

@Savala’s Craft Barbecue nice video, thinking of getting one. Does it come fully assembled, or do you have to put it together
@savalascraftbarbecue Жыл бұрын
@@jamesbell5793 it was fully assembled, they weigh about 500 pounds so just have some help they’re heavy but very great smokers. I sold mine not too long ago I miss it but I’ll get something else soon.

@@savalascraftbarbecue Thanks. Going to order one in a month or two. Figured it was that way, which I think is better. Ships freight so I figured one piece. How well does it move with the wheels?

@@jamesbell5793 it’s heavy still lol but it’s not too hard.
