I believe it has food grade paraffin and very minuscule amount! Just like other coconut waxes (coco apricot, coco83, etc) all have food grade paraffin in it. Which is still a natural ingredient (but of course other people would argue otherwise). Regardless I feel like a lot of these waxes that have this ingredient still consider it a natural wax!

Hi Queen! Thank you for the video. it's my first time coming across you! I have tried many waxes but decided to use natural ingredients. I've started using the #3 coconut apricot wax from 16/17. They come out great every time! The fragrances are amazing as well.

When I used to make candles I used paraffin 4627 because that's all that was available for container candles or beeswax 😂😂😂 and I would add stearic acid to it and results were fantastic best scent throw ever...after moving to a bigger house candles wouldn't cut it so I got into melts because the throw travels farther than candles... I now use soy 464 for my melts and no complaints from customers

This wax has been the absolute ticket for me, I tried using sixteen seventeen no.7 and the HT is not really there, soy 10 was super fragrant instantly and smooth

If you’re still testing soy waxes, try No. 7 from 16/17. I did and haven’t looked back. Love it better than Coco Apricot or any other wax. Works best with CDN wicks.

Soy 10 is awesome! The glass adhesion is not great for me either... But I NEVER get sinkholes with Soy 10. It does dip a tiny bit in the center, but I just don't mind that at all. I LOVE how creamy and beautiful the wax is. Soy Bliss (CB2) is also really great! It has a bit of a higher melt point, so that's the wax I use since I live on the sun (aka Texas).

I love it! I love that it’s not nearly as messy as what 6006 feels like. It doesn’t leave sticky residue on everything it touches 😂

I use No. 7 from 16/17, but here lately every slab has been inconsistent. I can make two candles, one from each slab, and they will perform completely different. I cannot change my recipe for every 5lb slab. Got some Soy 10 on the way from Hive & Honey and cannot wait to test it.

Hi, i also make candles. I use coco apricot creame wax and that also have paraffin in it but its food grade paraffin. Food grade paraffin is non toxic however it cause a little sutt, i use coco apricot creame from maksy, They have the information on their waxes on their site.

Go for coco apricot its so awesome!!! Plus its luxurious and vegan too. But its adhesion is the best thing ever

Soy 10 and CDNs wicks are a match made in heaven! I notice the oil you got from CCS and it does not smell when you're burning the candles, maybe it was just me or something odd but I did not get a smell with that fragrance oil you got from them. I have never had issues with other FOs and this wax

I will NEVER use American freedom soy ,it's a okay …have to blend with coconut wax for nice tops . I don't have time for dat LOL. I want a straight forward wax. …Millennium soy wax has pretty tops and can ship in the summer no problem. Congrats on switching your wax🎉!!! But what wax will use in the summer🌞? Your hair looks great!!! ☕

Thank you! It will need to be a slow transition, so I’ll start with fall/winter scents and then when the current stock runs out, I’ll slowly replace them with the soy 10 wax. Honestly it’s so damn hot here I’ve considered only doing local retail wholesale ONLY during summer. Seriously, nothing survives 115 🥵

Not much paraffin in Soy 10 so I don't know why people are so up in arms about it. At least they disclose it unlike other companies who hide it. Learn about the wax before you talk bad about it. I know this is one on my list to play with when I get spare time. Already changed my wax a few times but if I find a wax that is better than what I'm using now, I'll switch again to give my customers a better product. Maker's Notes: Made with an all-natural blend of 100% soy wax ingredients. It does contain a minuscule amount of food grade paraffin for stability and increased scent throw.

Interesting, I just looked into it and it DOES have petroleum byproduct. Although we know it’s harmless, it’s hard to keep up with a consumer market that does think it is! So it’s always good to be informed and make the best decision for you. Thanks for letting me know!

I use soy 10 and is amazing since the amount of food grade paraffin that is in it I considered soy wax. I watched a video from Wade from black tie barn about this and he explained it 😉 it is an awesome wax in my opinion. Coconut apricot I tested a couple times and is also good but I have to keep doing more testing 😊

What’s a wax you’ve used and you decided NEVER again!? I’ll go first- GB 464 😂 except now I know it’s supposed to be a blend wax, not used purely on its own. But still…

I love the wax I use, Coconut Apricot creme. I get a great hot and cold throw with that wax.

I love 464 I never have a problem with it works perfectly for me every single time. I think the wax chooses us because we all have a favorite that just works beautifully for us. I will never use GB 416 again however that is the absolute worse wax I have ever used for melts OMG it's horrid and I bought 50 lbs of the stuff.

@@laciej I think only 464, 494 are pure soy. Everything else “has a small amount of food grade paraffin” at minimum.

Hi Lacie 👋 thanks for sharing. Looks like your keeping a open mind I had to Lear that the hard way no matter what I was going to stick to pure soy I found out that it’s not always super natural really nothing is once is processed natural goes out the window I mainly focus on fragrance oils I make sure they don’t contain harmful Chemicals. Soy blend IG 6006 Problend 600 as of now are my best HT and they have the best of 2 worlds. I can smell my candles across the hallway with soy not really sadly. ❤

So true! Nothing is totally natural. And I guess if it were, the shelf-life would be pretty shocking haha. I’m going to play around with the soy for fall and winter, and if the feedback I receive isn’t as good as before, then I’m just going to keep it as it is now!
