Ceramic non-stick doesn't have the forever chemicals, which is why I prefer it.

New subscriber here and great review of the DASH griddle. It will definitely find a place in my kitchen. I have a curiosity question for you Mack. Where did you get that round spatula at ? ... It definitely does a better job of flipping compared to a conventional spatula. Thanks again !

Thank you. It has a super slick non-stick surface so nothing sticks and a simple wipe is all that's needed to clean it.

Well mines now has black grease mark, I had it since may 26.2024. I love mines and have cook so much stuff on there. I just wish the grease mark would go away.😢. I got mines form Kohl’s caught a great sale for 25 dollars . 😁. I wanted black but it was all sold out . So I got the aqua one. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. 🌎 I just need to find something to take the burnt look away. Do you know anything I can use.

I don't use any non-stick pans, I would use a cast iron griddle

Humans have been using ceramic cookware for thousands of years, man made pottery has been in use as far back as 24 thousand BC, your concerns are a non issue in this case. These are not the same as the chemically produced coatings you are worried about. I'm not claiming today's ceramic is created the same way as the ancient pottery but the methods are not exactly new either. Today's process is simply more automated. Besides, ceramic cookware is NOT non-stick. Over time the glaze will deteriorate and need maintenance. Cleaning them with "magic eraser" type foam sponge will restore the surface temporarily but it's best to just use oil when using ceramic cookware. I hope this has been educational.
