Hi Sergey, thx a lot for this video (perfect one…again)…I used to wear an Orca wetsuit (model 3.8…for Triathlon) when I started freediving sessions (in a pool)…so, keep us updated the effect of the chlorine ……because my wetsuit was (totally) destroyed by chlorine, despite the rinsing with clear water after every training………Keep going like this Sergey, your youtube channel is really a good way to become an better and safer freediver ;-)

Thanks for your video, I've just got my Orca free wetsuit but I found it's very hard to put on especially my arms! Do you think shampoo or condition will work for this wetsuit?

1) What is the price of the wetsuit? 2) What was the water temperature of the pool and sea? 3) Do you think the Orca size table is accurate? 4) how many KG's buoyancy does it have in the pool? For training and competition dynamics I use a cheap DHB triathlon wetsuit. I bought it a bit on the big size so the seems and materials are under a bit less stress and I have less movement resistance.The seller recommended that weight was the main indicator for choosing the size. Because of the low price (normally €105,- ,now at the end of this year there are big discounts so I paid just €85) and good enough construction it is my recommended suit for beginners and normal level freedivers. Such a suit has 4 main advantages: 1 giving you warmth allowing you to slow down your swimming movements, metabolism and relax more, 2 keep the male legs up in line with the body, 3 gives you a much lower water resistance, 4 allows you to use more weight giving you a longer glide.In regard to the zipper and the unique neck construction they're designed to prevent the zipper from opening up and water ingress while pushing yourself of the wall. With my Dhp suit the suit has a tendency for water ingress and opening up if I push off the wall hard or swim fast with the monofin. My neck weight resting on the velcro in the neck helps to mitigate this problem of regular triathlon suits.

Hi! 1. Price is the "weakest" point - not cheap wetsuit....This one - 295 USD. They also have another version for 495 2. In the ocean 28 at this moment, but quite windy. The pool is the coldest during December, but not sure the exact temperature.... 3. For me perfectly accurate. I have "custom made" from Elios and Molchanov - and Orca MT fits me better 4. Do you mean the wetsuit itself? I was thinking about wetsuit for a triathlon. It is definitely cheaper. Couldn't compare since never used them But. This one also has extra buoyancy for legs (which was important for me), keeping me warm, have lower water resistance - I do fewer arm strokes/kicks for the same distance.

Thank you for your extensive reply!In regard to buoyancy in the pool, you can check it in 2 ways; 1see how many kg you need more compared to diving without a suit, or 2 make sure there is no air inside and weigh the suit down with some weights.For my triathlon suit I have 3,5KG, without 2 kg, so my suit adds 1,5kg buoyancy. The Orca freedive wetsuit is off cause better then my cheap triathlon one. But for beginners or for people with other priorities / budgets I can highly recommend getting a triathlon like wetsuit for the pool training, it really helps a lot with buoyancy and gliding, and therefore it feels much more relaxing and liberating!

No, for this one I dont. But always use shampoo for a double piece wetsuit since I sm pretty hairy😂😂

This suit is only available at orca Hongkong, good quality but very expensive tax and shipping fee. And you need a buddy because you can’t close the zipper by your self. The big benefits of this suit is, when you put your arms in the front, you don’t have a big water bag in your neck.

agree....when I paid shipping and tax to Thailand it almost double the price....I will buy the next one when I am in Hongkong :-)
