pretty cool Billy, so on your next video I would like to see how that fire light works, does it shut the system down or is it just a flashy light ? what good is a flashy light that you have a fire if it doesn't shut the laser off. run a test to intentionally start a fire. thumbs up as always

Thank you, Doug! I'd rather not risk the laser, but I can answer your question. I never had an active flame. But some of the core did smolder. The laser detected that and flashed orange. If it had detected an active flame, the laser would have flashed red and shut down, and moved the laser module to the right front corner.

@@TheMessyStudio you realize I know all that ! what if you stepped out to PEE for a minute while it was running ? will it shut OFF if a flame occures, I ran that test on the D1 Pro and yes it shuts off, does the Creality?

Yes, it shuts off. But only for an active flame. For a possible fire detection, no, it only flashes orange to give you a heads up.
