Great video, I am not looking for a race boat, I have a15 8 cruiser, but this was educational and a further reminder of how DY can realise the ideas presented to him.

So based on the comments expressed by the speakers in the video, will there be future tweaks made to the 16.8? Like Jeremy said, he'd prefer the 16.8 to be a bit narrower at the gunwales for paddle-strokes, and this wish was transferred to the 17.8. So will this be done for the 16.8 also at some point?

it's possible but the demand would have to justify the cost. It would require building and tooling a new mould that has a new shape, which is a significant process and cost.
