Testing the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for Guitar Players

New Camera Day; Testing the tracking feature on my hands with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
It’s not meant for this, but if you’re shooting horizontal and don’t fly across the fretboard fast, it’s “okay”. You can see it lose my hands at the very end as I quickly slide up the board. Gonna keep testing it to see how much smoother it can get.

I think you've convinced me to buy this camera. Would you really recommend it for playthrough video production?

Yes, I think it's great for static/moving playthroughs. It works very well in low lit conditions too (for me at least). I think for tracking hands or small/tiny objects, it's gonna be a little difficult as it tends to lose tracking of a small subject. Perhaps if you placed a big piece of bright coloured tape on one of your fingers it could track better. With that said, if you check out my Part 1 VLOG on my channel, you can see it tracks large objects just fine (People, cars, etc). It captures audio very well as well. Unless you sprinting in and out of frame, then it's gonna lose you. 😆
