So, which one do you prefer the BT11 or the BT12?

For my use case, I prefer the BT12 The BT11 dashcam is fixed to the display, so it only faces forward, and I already have other dashcams. The BT12 has a separate wired dash cam, so I can use it as a rearview monitor for the truck when unhitched. I don't really need the blind spot detection of the BT11, as I have the Haloview blind spot radar system already. The BT12 display is slightly bigger but still fits OK on my mirror. Finally, the BT12 has a voice command feature which I sometimes use to switch camera views or take photos without touching the screen. Cheers, Ray

I wonder if it will warn of speeders before and while they are in blind spot.

Will be interesting to see how far back this visual system picks up the approaching vehicle. I have the Haloview radar blind spot system and I find it warns at average about 50 feet behind me and stays lit until the vehicle is passes me. www.loveyourrv.com/installing-wireless-blind-spot-radar-for-the-rv-haloview-sens-3-adas-system/ that radar system integrates with the BT7 model system www.loveyourrv.com/haloview-byte-tango-rear-side-view-wireless-camera-system/
