Wow man, you brought back some memories. I had that exact model Cobia. Just sold it this spring, blew the motor a few years ago, and wasn't using it no more. Mine was fully restored with a modern paint job, but its still nice to see another one on still "motoring" lol. If you fix her up, they're rated for 120hp maximum, and the shape of the bow cuts the waves amazingly. I hardly ever had water splash into the boat.

if the boat was a bit smaller it mite would almost get up and go but looks great as is good thing bout it no water pump to deal with geting crap stuck in choking the engine what size engines are these? im guessing the small one is about a 5hp pushmower engine and the big ones about a 12hp brigs
@chud3278 жыл бұрын
I love the fact that there is no water pumps to worry about and no gas to mix. I would like to try them on a smaller boat, but this will do for now. Good guesses, the small is more like a 3 horse and the big is a 12.5. I am currently fixing the boat up and I have 3 episodes and another on the way. check them out if you get board and I plan to get the boat registered real soon. They make generators run on cow manure to make free electricity, so it can be done. I wouldn't give up, but it may take a special carb. Let me now if you have any luck, I could hook the potty up to the engine. I would have to feed my guest big meals before we leave the boat ramp.

You need a diff lock on that tractor of yours. Should help keep you from getting stuck so easily.
@chud3277 жыл бұрын
It has a pedal you push and it locks the diff. The problem was going uphill pulling a boat and there is no water in the tires. Water in the tires make it too heavy for me to pull from place to place, but it sure makes a pulling machine. Thanks for watching and for the comment.

Just for the record, I don't know much about any motor for a boat. I usually rent one or go with a friends boat, but are you ready? WARNING because this is going hurt. By the first look without testing it and the way it's tied, I won't even get into the boat. :-( .... but after you tested it, here's what I think. The center motor motor sounds good, and by the looks at the video it look like it can do the job, like it can do fine and can surely glides. The other motor that is in the side also sounds good. But I hope your water leaking problem is fixed. it's sure wise of you to just practice it in the little manmade pond, rather than put it in the big ocean. For an hour testing, gives me guaranteed that this two would work. Are they still holding up?

I hope you don't mind I will do some advertising on this video segment of yours. it's regarding your tiny house. your tiny house episode are starting to get close to the end. I have a request, ( you don't have to do it but just a thought). at the end of your tiny house miniseries, can you make a quick quick last video of it with all of what you did from start to the end.... please please ....please.. pretty please :-)

+Sweetheart Herrera I have already deleted some of my footage... do you mean put a whole bunch of little clips together like in the intros or do you mean everything in detail. Maybe this will work, I have built a playlist, currently with the 11 videos, but I intend to add all future episodes to the playlist. I am also thinking of incorporating a little gardening into some of the videos. It is almost spring and that would go with an off grid theme. What do you think. I also want to do a solar water tank and eventually some solar panels... thanks for the request and form watching.

I love to experiment with building stuff, to see if it would float, to see how fast it would go, it will be better than swimming to the fishing hole, etc. Thanks for watching.

I am not rich and I spend my money on my 8 kids not on expensive boat project. On the other hand, since you know about being rich, why don't you take some of you wealth and get some spelling lessons? What is this "Daamn" and "suk" you are trying to spell? It must suck to be dumb... Thanks for watching.
