This little trail is up there for difficulty even during the day so thought it would be a good place to test the lights.. needless to say they were more than bright enough to see all that I needed! The helmet light is a Monteer 12000, a brand new release from MagicShine.

Hi how do you travel with your bikes? And was it cold over there?

It was pretty cold down there for that week. I drove down with my bike on my bike rack, caught a ferry over. But when I fly I break my bike down and put it in a bike bag.

What grade would you recommend for a beginner rider with a bit of experience?

Grade 2-3 and then when you are super comfy on grade 3 start moving up 💪 to fast track the progression, get a lesson at your local or come to Rotorua and book something in with us. Happy to help
