Hi mate great vid and nice to see it up against some others. One question did you get the Oneleaf sent to you to review or did you buy? If you brought did you pay any duty to HMRC, VAT /import duty. I’m about to buy a 2nd hand alpex but still feel drawn to the 400 but not sure about any extra costs

Hi I was sent it to review and to be honest I didn't think it would be as good as it is for the price it's a very good scope for the money and if I was after another day night scope I would definitely buy the NV400 , I think there about £450 in our money 🤔 and I can't see you getting anything better for that price, my review was a honest review and I have not been paid by oneleaf to help them sell there products, if it wasn't any good I would tell you hope this helps you 👍

@@keithjones13 spot on mate thanks for the reply. Think now there running at £520 and that’s still pretty good. I’ve got a deal on a 2week old alpex for a bit more but thinking about the slight weight difference. I’ve had an ATN with the abl 100 and that was a heavy old lump. It did the job for the 2 years I used it, unfortunately their after sales is diabolical to be honest. Think I will have to go back to the thinking board before I decide. @@janhudson4501 if it's the Alpex 4k you can get for a little more money I would have that but if it's the old Alpex I would go for the NV400 mate , good luck and happy shooting pal 👍

Same here, I bought an Alpex in the end, Zulus FAR too complicated with overcomlex APP, Cheetah image worse than my old Pard 008 lrf, The ATN was too bulky and unreliable.

Hi Mate, Good review but couple of questions: - Is the IR a 850nm or 940nm? foxes see the 850nm (which is the standard option for manufacturers) - if you get mounts with a pictiny top ring, you can put the IR on top with an adjustable mount....sorted. - when carrying it on your back does the rangefinder knock the scope etc.... if ya carrying it for 3 hours i think it maybe quite uncomfortable?? Hi Callum, yes the IR is a 850nm , and the scope rings come with the nv400 have picatinny tops, I will be putting an adjustable ir mount on it like my other rifles. Just wanted to state in the video that I didn't like the mount that came with the scope, the IR is self though is very good. No the range finder doesn't bag the scope or rub your back when carrying it , it doesn't feel any different to carry than any of my other scopes to be fair, it's a very good package for under £500 and you get everything you need in the box even down to the SD card 👍 Thanks for the feedback Cheers Keith 👍

@keithjones13 no mate. Its hard to find a good quality digital scope at a bargain price. One thing I would say it's a heavy scope I wouldn't want to carry it around the fields on my .223 for very long.

@@jimwood yes it's a bit on the heavy side mate but all mine are like that , I think it weighs about the same as the Alpex but lighter than the ATN 4k with the range finder on, that's like walking around with a breeze block on the rifle mate 🤣🤣👍
