That seemed like a fun experiment. I like how Alyse just threw you to the wolves and was like "I ain't going out there." I can relate on not wanting to be confined. But if it was cold it would be better to have one then not. Seems like a good deal for what you got.

It was, and I was just in the backyard, so if it failed, I could just walk back inside to my warm bed. We recently got back from camping, and it was just in the high 40's at night, but the bags were super comfortable in both feeling and warmth.

I hear ya. I ain't never been Black, but I know that sort of anxiety. As I have aged, I decided to allow some comforts into my life and good sleeping bag is one of them. I have a family and also budget shop. I been loving many Ozark Trails gear. Love their packs. So maybe their sleeping bag will be good, too.

Black or not, I'm glad someone else feels that anxiety, though I have gotten better about it. Adding the sleeping bag to our sleep system elevated it so much it's crazy. Is it bulky and heavy? Sure, but it checks the comfort box and you can't beat that price.

I use a Sherpas blanket and a Coleman slumberjack.....good to 0°

@@theteamtatum got the Sherpa blanket at Walmart for 20 bucks in the discount bin.... believe it or not

That is a great bag for the price too. I have 2 of them and have used them a lot here is S Illinois

It really is. Is it ideal for backpacking? Absolutely not lol, but a short walk from the car, can't beat it.
