The audio sounds great. Nice and clear with no loud wind noise. Can just slightly hear the background ambient sounds that help make the overall audio a great experience.

The shaft spins but nobody is home! It's funny how a simple pumping job turns into a friggin nightmare just when you don't need it to. I swear I've nearly thrown our pump clear across river several times. The Pump shop loves me and sees me coming - big grins all round.

Jack, not suggesting you reinvent the wheel but. Why not bring exchange unit with you and overhaul on bench in workshop. Save the thorns etc. 😎

A section of conveyor belt is what you need for kneeling on and it’s good to drop things on as well. No burrs getting through that. Good in the back of the Ute too. 🫡✨☮️🇦🇺

Jack What about a piece of wire cloth to shape a hood around the lens end to keep the vandals away? Might not obstruct the view much depending on the mesh size?

Pour clear vinegar over the scale on the pump, if it bubbles and slowly dissolves it, it is calcium carbonate and any weak acid solution will dissolve it such as a diluted hydrochloric acid.
@JoelHaggisАй бұрын

Jack, I wonder if you be better with a small, portable aluminium table, so you could stand up and work on the pumps, well off the ground to get away from all the spikes? Yes heard the birds on the audio no problem, sorry I can’t help you with what they they were, love all the sounds of the bush on your outside vids.
@jack_out_the_backАй бұрын
Absolutely, that's a great idea! I should take the little trestle table with me!, and potentially the gazebo. We have started to look at how we will mount up shade sails on the mobile cattle race, and when I do deployments of new Wi-Fi (or repairs) I usually try to remember to take a camp chair!

The microphone is so sensitive it picks up the cameras internal noises! I'm trying to work out how to edit just that out without loosing other noises. I'll get there eventually! 🙂

Hi Jack, I'm wondering if the firmware you are updating is a couple of versions or more than what is on the camera if so try updating to the next firmware used by the camera not trying to use the latest version in one step. I am a PC builder and often find that is the problem and also live in the outback WA

Have you tried cable tying the cameras in bird spikes? Bunnings sells it.

❤❤❤ I have 20 reolinks various models from Solar powered to 240v that steps down to 12v. These units come with 2 year plus 6 additional mths warranty any issues Reolink have been excellent with warranty. I use the Windows app, Apple app and Android app all the apps work without Grief. You said your feeding 48v into the camera was that a mistake as that model runs with a 12v power adapter. 👍👍👍👍👍👍🇦🇺 The app allows motion detection you can fully ajust for person pets or cars sensitivity. Have you got it sorted yet.❤❤❤ to stop the Cockies attacking the lens you might have to place some clear perspex in front of the cam.

CX410 is a bit ordinary at night in my experience, resolution is just to low. I am going to try an CX810 to see if its any better. I am recording to SD as well as Blue Iris CCTV, am wondering if your res issue might be recording a substream from the reo.

I just buy the moving blankets from harbor freight. Thick enough to have good padding and cheap enough that if they get torn up you don't care. They do a good job of stopping the puncture vine around where I live. I don't know if they'll do a good job for the briars you have. I guess you could always double them up.

When you dig a bore do you cut slots in the bottom section to let the water come in from the side of hole just having the water come in from the bottom can slow down the flow and the pump has to work that bit harder Have you thought about just getting a pair of plastic knee pads, they have padding and should stop the goat heads from going threw to your spin lol
