I'm a heavy equipment mechanic. Milwaukee is great but ridgid offer lifetime battery/tool replacement. I personally have had 4 batteries, 2 drills and a 12v impact driver replaced for free with ridgid. Hope that helps you.

Ridgid was on sale $80.00 +$15 at Direct Tools Outlet a week or so ago. Just found out. 😮 Needless to say they sold out right away. Don't even know what to say about a deal like this as they also honor the Lifetime Warranty! I already have one but Man if I didn't I would have definitely got one. It's an amazing tool👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😎

The funny thing is that the parent company is the same for these 2 brands and ryobi. All made in the same factory somewhere in Asia. I will say the high torque ridgid model 86211B (no longer made) and the stealth impact driver (I believe not offered anymore) are high quality, high performance tools that will give any brand a run for its money.

Modes for each tool can be set by the factory at any torque! It's the maximum torque that really matters!

In setting one the Rigid only goes to about 48 foot pounds, in setting 2 it's roughly 180- 200' pounds.

The 2767-20 milwaukee ONEkey has a 1400 FtLBS of break away torque...... Am not sure bout the milwaukee model in this test though.... But price wise Ridgid is a very good bang for the buck...

there isnt an assist mode, thats auto mode. it will either tighten a little then stop, or break it loose then stop.

I have all 3 rigids, that to me looks like the high torque the 211? If it is it's 200' ft-lbs higher than Milwaukee's 2767 which is why they revised the rigid high torque. The newer model is 200 ft-lbs less. Can't have rigid stealing the Crown lol.

Guaranteed if you had an impact socket on that big 10 lug hub both impacts would of taken those lug nuts off. Think of the impact being the length of the sledge and the socket combined with the anvil and hammers being the sledge head.

Guys a trick When doing tires and sockets stick to the lug nuts Before u begin to work off lugs spray them with soap and water and or spray the socket I’m a tire guy working on multiple cars a day What frustrates me the worse is not the 100 degree sun or the co workers who think I suck or even the customers it’s those fking lug nuts that get stuck on the effing socketsss It was happening to this dude I was like where is your spray bottle man!???

I bought this rigid and I’m using the 4ah battery that I have had a couple years from my mid torque and it struggles to take off semi lug nuts. Do you think I just need a bigger battery like the 6ah?

It is an Octane tool, So I would recommend using the Octane battery's to get the most out of it. There wasn't hardly anything that this wouldn't take off with the 9.0AH on it. But I used the 3.0 high output battery most the time because of weight. Also make sure its on the right setting this thing has 6 different modes but really only 2 or 3 of them are worth using.

Sem lug nuts? It's called a 1 inch impact, then a torque wrench. Make sure you oil nuts and stud.. If you don't know what you're doing STOP.

i work with a Milwaukee and a snap on everyday, PLEASE if you have a waukee do not i repeat DO NOT tighten car lugs with it on 4, it will snap the studs like butter. i always use the 2nd setting maybe 3 but ive broke 4 on accident not paying attention to the setting

Well what battery platform do you have now? If your a mechanic I would go Milwaukee just because they have the most tools for that purpose, They have tons of Impacts, ratchets, lights, you name it.

You don't want the lower modes to be too powerful or you break bolts. The whole point is to dial down the power. Ideally should have a 1/4" impact for smaller stuff though

Had my ridgid for 5 months and pulled the trigger. Nothing, then motor started smoking and would nog dtop unless i disconnected the battery. Happen today .

@@Impact-OG took it apart , two soldier contacts on left top side just ah cooking. Pulled core out of the motor from the back of the unit. Had a melted bad spot. Real tough to spin the anvil with it in, easy if out.

Battery only has needed charging maybe 6 times. Also for now on if im done using a battery type tool and its gonna sit over night or longer, im going to remove the battery from the unit.

Its been tested and proven that battery ah means nothing to the milwaukees performance. i have no idea if that is the same for the ridgid, but the mw will not perform any better with a diff battery. I own the mw, and the ridgid, but i dont feel the need to make up corny ass excuses when my fav. tool loses.

I have every Makita battery they make 2.0 thru 6.0 and I get the same power out of each one of them until the charge runs low! aH means amp-hours. amp hours correlates with voltage the amount of wattage one has a capacity. 3aH batteries at 18v have 54 watts while a 5.0aH battery at 18v has 90 watts. The power which is 18v, the only constant stays the same with all batteries. There no more power in a high aH battery as opposed to a smaller aH battery. It's merely a capacity of work over time!

If you do trucks get the high torque, cars can mostly be done with mid torques. Unless your doing a honda crank hub bolt, then you’ll wish you had a 3/4” drive.

Don't Milwaukee is a lot stronger and superior impact, this guy was doing mostly all the tests in mode 2 knowing that the Ridgid has faster RPM, if he would have done these tests in mode 3 the outcome would have been different. Just look at 13:33 when he says the Milwaukee is on high meanwhile it's on mode 2 but of course, the Ridgid was on mode 3. I have both impacts and the Milwaukee is a much superior gun.

@@C7Tmac Yea, mode 1 and 2 are mostly for not over torquing bolts, thats why the Milwaukee has a automatic mode, mode 4 which slows down when removing bolts and stops hammering when bolting down.

The designation at the end is just to tell if you are buying a kit or bare tool -20 is bare tool -22 is a kit the wrench is the same though

I have never found a bolt the milwaukee wont break free. And iv seen test where the milwaukee was tested and it surpassed 1400 ftlbs and all the other brands in the video couldnt even match there max quoted break away torque. The only complaint for the milwaukee is how heavy it is but all the high torque impacts are. I still prefer the Milwaukee, ridgud is a good brand though, d3finetly comparable with the big boys (dewalt&milwaukee) but to test these accuratly you need a dyno and a whole host of other gizmos to accuratly test which one is more powerful. Wheather one can do it on setting 2 and the other cant is irrelevant bc those modes are electronically limited to a certain torque and will vary from manufacturer. Milwaukee also has one that connects to your phone that you can adjust the torque on.

Do the comparison with high output 6.0 batteries in BOTH tools. Also, was the Milwaukee the 2767-20 or a lesser model? I know the Ridgid you used was its top model. Those batteries were NOT equal. Do a video with the 2767-20 and put 6.0's in BOTH tools, then ill believe the Ridgid is the better tool. You're comparison wasn't fair and you know it.

This is the top of the line model! It's Milwaukees brushless high torque impact wrench, and I show that in the video. And second I don't run them that much, the battery gos down 1 bar. So it doesn't matter. The new Ridgid has higher R.P.M's and I.P.M. but yes if I would have brought my 8.0ah or 6, or 12 it would have given it a little more power. I was out in a junk Yard, I only brought 2 battery's for each gun, plus all my sockets, it all takes up room.
