Things not mentioned in your review: V3 Foam pads: - Much softer than 3d printed pads. They are the only Clark pads I find comfortable enough to use without adding padding on top of them - They ship right away if he has them in stock. 3D printed ones take a while Bumpers: - The rear bumper allows the wheel to stand up when turned on its back; basically it gives your Gotway a kickstand. This is one of the best features - The instructions tell you to glue the bumpers on. I use Velcro to attach them and I do it without covering any screw holes. Gotway wheels need to be opened up to check for leaks and other issues; Gluing the bumpers on makes it very difficult to open the wheel.

Also that the 3D printed pads splits apart (at the top portion of the pads where the chins go against) after a few falls (5-10kmh)

@@CBRR8881 I used the 3d printed ones for about 400 miles and I never had any issues like that. I don't really do any crashing though.

You have to make a video to show the basics of pads and how to position them for the best balance. Your video here assumes that everyone here knows these things and I couldn't really figure out what's the best place to put them relative to where you feet are on the paddle, more forward and back. You mentioned up and down but I'm still confused about front and back placement.

Not natively, the opening is a bit too small, but nothing a serious belt sander couldn’t handle haha. But I’m working on getting Clark to make v12 version

Just ordered the Veteran stand. As for pads, I got bounced off my Sherman going over a dip and a series of bumps. I don't jump, I just don't want to get bounced off the pedals again.. . What would you reccomend?

Yeah I have the gen 2 pads and pedals and took some bumps this weekend and did pretty well. I don’t jump yet on the Sherman- that’s more of an s18 thing for me lol

There is one vital safety feature that needs to be addressed that is totally ignored and nobody talks about it. Cut offs!! If it cuts off it shouldn't just let you body slam yourself at 60 kph into the ground. There Needs to be a way to ride out the cut off. Like a weight locking mechanism. When you come off the wheel then the wheel can drop down.

Hate to be a downer but the Clark pad options for the s18 suck! They don't line up and don't work at all unless u chop them up and rig them to your unit , then I was told oh well thats what u do with them. Experience with Clark pads for the s18 almost makes me not want to do bussiness in the future with him.

Hello I am a 95year "young" man (its not the age but how u feel) and i dont have instantgramm..I discovered your channel on my new Panasonic tv(it has smart internet) and i fell in love with electric unicycles so i got one and now can ride but i need powerpads and pedals because my legs are a bit weaker than when i was younger(i ran marathon until i was 84). I have been able to get to 33mph but at 95 and with arthritis in my nuts its hard to go too fast...please send me the Clark kit eventhough i cant to instantgram events! I am trying to go backwards now and since i only have vision in one eye it makes it hard. Last week i broke my hip trying to bomb stairs (like u kids say). The doctor says...."haha, just kidding i am 52 and thought this might make u laugh....love ur vids guy"
