2:41 the pathfinding system makes it so the villager finds the fastest possible path meaning when it closes the door it will go the other way that it can but when it opens back up it make a even faster way so it goes to that. that is the simple explanation anyways

1. At the choice between the lava and the iron golem, the villager went crazy and went into the lava because he got hit by the zombie. (Plus you did hit him so he had a double threat (no offense it's just in the villagers mind (plus I don't even think mobs even have brains because their heads are hollow inside lol)) to run away from, but then the 2nd time you spawned them in the villager did not get hit at all and he didn't panic as much so he could go smoothly to the iron golem where the zombie couldn't get him) 2. At where there was 2 beds and zombie spawns by the pressure plates, the villager only went in 1 bed because he clamed that bed and how you know if the villager claims a bed or not as if the bed and the villager has green particles above them. 3. At where there's turns and iron bars to walk on to get to the other side, the villager didn't know what to do because there was no bed for him to sleep in because it was night time so he fell in the lava, but since you put the bed down the villager knew what to do, so he passed all the lava and went into the bed, then once you broke the bed the villager didn't know what to do just like before you placed down the bed. 4. at where there were 4 pillagers, the villager was surrounded, so he was going crazy and panicking so he tried to go in the bed but it was day time (unless if it actually was night time he's just panicking and running to beds and not sleeping because he can't because he is panicking), so he kept on panicking and he ran into the pillager and died (Plus I am just saying what is in the villagers minds). Ok Ima stop typing now, my fingers are getting tired.

The maps with multiple beds are pretty much impossible for the villagers, because when they pick a bed (the green particles) they will only try to sleep in that bed. I don't mean this in a hateful way at all, I love these videos!

Hey. You should do a zombie IQ test. The other day, I was in one of my minecraft worlds. I have a pit to catch mobs in. Round the back of my house, there is a way down there, with a trapdoor as a door, so baby mobs can climb over, but it's still pretty labyrinthine. But anyway, he (baby zombie) turned up at my door 30 secs later, so I checked the pit for him. He was not there, so it must have been him I think. He had found his way all the way through there and even found the correct door. That's INTELLIGENT if you ask me.

2:19 The villager isn't drunk or playing with the plate, but his trigger was affected. During closed, the villager has no way to pass there and turn, but when it opens, the trigger of the villager making the AI go to the plate thinking he can go there, it repeats. Thus, the villager does that
