Y'all need to check out the How to Cook That channel. Ann Reardon does debunking videos. She has a food science degree and explains why the So Yummy (among other channel) hacks are bound to fail and are just clickbait. They literally only make their videos to be clickable but don't care about making sure their hacks will work or taste good. Rachel, thank you for the video today. I'm sorry you wasted some ingredients.

Okay, so, i was experimenting with a new recipe 3 days ago and in a large dutch oven... I made a cake base with homemade cinnamon-chocolate graham cracker dough that was partially blind baked (put in the oven with a weight to prevent puffing for few minutes to partially cook). Then a used a normal coco-cake recipe and poured it on top. I put medium sized marshmallows throughout the batter, baked it. Let it mostly cool, stabbed it like a serial killer, and poured over a salted caramel and mocha sauce until it was saturated. Then topped it with a vanilla cinnamon whipped cream and dusted in cocoa powder and powdered sugar (and more mocha sauce). I did all that while binge-watching Love, Victor at 1 in the morning... ... This isn't me trying to flex by the way, this is a cry for help. I LIVE ALONE! I can't eat all of this by myself and I know the crust won't freeze well. I know that baking looks cool but please call for an ambulance to make sure I haven't slipped into a diabetic coma cause apparently I have no self control. 😫😫😫😂😂😂

Sweet Sugar Belle has (in my opinion) the best tasting and easiest to follow sugar cookie recipe. No refrigeration, very low spread, and SOOOOOO yummy!!

Yeah, the cream of 3 oreos is not enough sweetener for that amount of cream. AND, heavy whipping cream still has a high water content and can ice up on the outside rather than making an ice cream (which is why we agitate cream as its chilled). Coincidentally, sugar IS the solution to both of those problems. (Salt, whole or 2% milk, vanilla, condensed milk etc would also be critical for flavor and texture.) Another tip would have been using fresher/homemade brownies. They are naturally more moist and soft and would have made skewering easier. If the cream had more sugar and froze better, it may have held up to the stabbing. As for the dipping... cake pops are my Vietnam. I wholly refuse to dunk anything frozen into melted chocolate. I would pour the chocolate over it, either one at a time (NOT over the double boiler, as water will ultimately drip into the cocoa supply and make it seize) or on a wire cooling rack all at once. I would also recommend never using or eating white chocolate, simply because it's a fatty garbage candy made from chocolate waste. But that's just my opinion.

To get sugar cookies to hold their shape better freeze them on the tray (after cut or shaping) for 10-15 minutes. Rosana says this helps cutout cookies hold their shape in the oven.

My favorite birthday cake is ice cream sandwiches layered in a casserole, next layer is a layer of chocolate sauce and whip cream, topped with crushed Oreos and then repeated til the casserole dish is full. Then you freeze it and best ice cream cake ever
